But legend has it that after the 1990 loss to UNLV for the crown, Mike Krzyzewski was looking for a change. Others thought he was thinking something else, but he was looking for something extra. Then, the Air Max Uptempo was born, and like a father seeing his newborn child for the first time, it was love at first sight. Many believed that there was something more to the story.
